The challenges of studying abroad can be listed as below. Initially, different habits and customs can cast some unexpected effects on our life. We are not used to living in a completely strange environment. Similarly, teaching philosophy and methods among diverse countries are contradictory sometimes, which is not suitable for juveniles. At last, studying abroad needs huge expense. Not only should our parents take pressure, but also we do heavy part-time jobs after school. 　　看！那里有一条长龙，我们今天就要登上这条长龙。俗话说：不到长城非好汉！我们现在已经踩到了长城的方砖上，不要小块这一块方砖。这在古代相当于一块金子，因为这种方砖的烧制是皇宫特制的，方砖露出地面只是方砖的三分之一，还有三分之二在地下。原来方砖表面有鎏金，由于年代久远，现在看上去就是一块陈旧的砖头而已。接着看看你们手扶的城墙，那是一块块巨石搭砌。想一想古代没有现代化大型机械，他们是怎么搬运上山和搭建的呢？你是不是对古代劳动人民由然升起一种敬意多少劳动人民的血汗和智慧才凝结成这前不见头，后不见尾的长城呀！再看长城每隔一段就有一个方形台，这个地方可以屯兵，还可以在这里放烽火，打仗的时候，方便相互呼应。

　　说起长城，我们不得不讲一个有关于它的传说孟姜女哭长城。相传秦始皇时，劳役繁重，青年男女范喜良、孟姜女新婚三天，新郎就被迫出发修筑长城，不久因饥寒劳累而死，尸骨被埋在长城墙下。孟姜女身背寒衣，历尽艰辛，万里寻夫来到长城边，得到的却是丈夫的噩耗。她痛哭城下，三日三夜不止，城为之崩裂，露出范喜良尸骸，孟姜女于绝望之中投海而死。因此长城倒塌800多里，够震撼吧！

　　另外一个故事大家也应该有所耳闻。西周时周幽王，为褒姒一笑，点燃了烽火台，戏弄了诸侯。褒姒看了果然哈哈大笑。幽王很高兴，因而又多次点燃烽火。后来诸侯们都不相信了，也就渐渐不来了。周幽王再举烽火征兵的时候，屡屡受骗的诸侯再也不上当了。遂杀幽王骊山下，虏褒姒，尽取周赂而去，西周灭亡。褒姒被掳去后，下落不明！
