　　答：推荐信的份量直接关系到能否出国留学，能否获得奖学金等，作为对外联系的材料，是其中一份较为重要的文件。推荐信的目的是通过国内专家向对方介绍申请人的工作、学习和专业方向等情况。在出国申请是否成功的诸多要素中，有力的推荐信是录取的重要条件之一，其份量仅次于于本科成绩单和雅思成绩。

　　一、选择推荐人

　　一、选择推荐人时要遵循熟悉、专业两大原则

　　1、推荐人要熟悉你的学习和工作，熟悉你的动机和学习计划，要有比较密切的交流。推荐表中的“How long have you known the referee？In what capacity？”就是问的推荐人和被推荐人之间的熟悉程度。在此基础上，如果推荐人是外国教授，而该教授和你申请的学校又很熟悉，这种推荐往往会起到意想不到的效果；如果推荐人和你申请的学校教授又比较熟悉，处理好了，推荐信则会有化腐朽为神奇的力量；如果推荐人虽然不熟悉对方的教授，但是该专业内很有名的专家（诸如拥有院士之类的头衔的），经常参加国际交流，其推荐作用也不可忽视。不过，名人架子一般也很大，找申请人时，要先掂量掂量自己的分量。对于大部分来说，我认为找推荐人还是以找熟人为主，一是好说话，会很配合你的申请；二是在国外教授看来，很自然很合理。

　　推荐信的格式与一般书信基本相同。有信头，发信日期，收信人姓名，称呼，正文，信尾谦称，签名，推荐人姓名，职称及工作单位等部分。同时，注意学校是否有提供现成的推荐表格，是否利用问答的方式，直接让推荐者作叙述和评价。

　　出国留学推荐信信封的格式

　　1)写信人的姓名、地址写在信封正面的左上角。

　　2)收信人的姓名、地址写在信封正面中心稍偏右的地方。

　　3)邮票贴在信封的右上角。

　　4)地址的写法是先写收信人或寄信人的.姓名，然后按照从小到大顺序依次写出门牌号、街道、城市、省或州名、邮编，最后写国名。

　　5)收信人名前应根据需要加：mr(先生)、mrs(太太、夫人)、miss(小姐)、ms(女士，已婚或未婚均可)、dr(博士)、prof(教授)等留学生网留学点评，以示礼貌。有些中国学生给老师写信常用teacher作为称呼，这种用法不正确。在英语中teacher就跟worker，driver，farmer等一样是一种职业，不能作为称呼。男老师我们可以用mr，女老师我们用mrs、miss或ms作为称呼。

　　出国留学信文的格式

　　1)把寄信人的地址和日期(简称信头)写在信纸的右上角。地址的写法同信封。

　　2)把收信人的姓名、地址(简称内地址)写在寄信人地址和日期的左下方，即信纸的左边，低寄信人日期一至二行处。私人信件此项内容可以不写。

　　3)把称呼写在收信人姓名、地址下面，相距一行处。称呼一般以dear…开头，后面用逗号。如无地址，可以把称呼向上顺移。

　　4)书信正文从称呼下一行的3至5个字母开始。

　　5)如同汉语信一样，英文信的结尾也常写有祝好、盼来信、代向……问好之类的话，我们称之为结束语。

　　6)在信的结尾下面签上自己的姓名。除了对熟人或亲密的人以外，签名必须写全姓名，而且不管什么信件，都应由写信人亲笔签名。

　　推荐信提交方式有以下三种：

　　一、网申系统提交（这是绝大多数的学校首选）

　　但是同学们请注意，这个网申系统并不是咱们提交申请的系统，而是学校给推荐人的邮箱发邮件时，特有的网推系统。理论上来说，这个系统申请者是看不到的，是需要由推荐人亲自去提交推荐信。推荐人的邮箱建议是学校或企业的官方邮箱，最好不要是126，qq等私人邮箱。

　　但是在申请的时候，学校一般会问申请者是否放弃看推荐信的权利。同学们可以保留看推荐信的权利，这对申请来说是不影响的。

　　在学生提交申请后，甚至有些网申还没提交申请，在申请系统填了推荐人的邮箱和信息，学校会给推荐人发邮件，提醒推荐人在收到的邮件里面提交推荐信。

　　二、邮寄纸质推荐信

　　少部分学校会要求我们邮寄纸质推荐信，特别是加拿大的学校。而且这些学校大部分是会有自己专门的推荐信表格。申请者需要把这些表格发给推荐人，由推荐人填好，签字，封装，并且需要在密封口上签字，以保证密封性。

　　邮寄方式有两种：

　　1.由推荐人亲自邮寄出去，当然这太麻烦了，同学们肯定也不好意思。

　　2.推荐人密封好推荐信后，由学生邮寄出去，但是前提是推荐信是密封好的。

　　注意：当网申系统出现问题，推荐人收不到推荐信链接的时候，也可以通过这样的方式去提交推荐信。

　　三、通过发邮件的.方式提交

　　这绝对不是通过我们申请者的邮箱去发推荐信。这必须是由推荐人的邮箱发出去。这种方式一般是在网推系统失效，推荐人收不到学校的邮件后的补救方式。

　　好啦，以上大概就是推荐人提交推荐信的方法，当然有特殊情况要特殊处理。
